Gerald Tan is a partner at J.P. Wilson. He specialises in business management and supply chain management.
In his work with private clients, Gerald journeys with business leaders to optimise business management and supply chain management. He focuses in the automotive and healthcare industry with deep knowledge in the supporting logistics sector.
Gerald spent 30 years in the automotive sector. His last position was the Regional Managing Director of Global SCP Medical Systems, a healthcare distribution company in 8 countries. Prior to this, Gerald was the CEO of Pan Asia Logistics International Pte Ltd, a company (headquartered in Singapore) known for its success in integrating the operating cultures of German efficiency and Asian commitment to deliver high standards in logistics services to clients in the German automotive sector with distribution in APAC. Prior to Pan Asia, he was the Executive Director of Lei Shing Hong, where he was responsible for the business development and after sales group functions, accounting for a revenue of US$1 billion in China. Prior to Lei Shing Hong, Gerald was the Vice President for strategic intelligence, regulatory, certification, in-country distribution support at Daimler Northeast Asia. Prior to Daimler, he served as the Senior Manager responsible for the automotive components and parts distribution function at Cycle & Carriage Industries.
